The “Syria Response Coordinators” announced a high rate of infection with the Coronavirus in northwestern Syria during the current month of May.

The response coordinators said that the total number of injuries in the liberated north of Syria, from May 1 to 23, reached 777.

He pointed out that the last outcome of injuries was distributed among the regions and sub-districts according to the highest incidence rate, which is: (Al-Bab area 223 injuries - Afrin region 170 injuries - Azaz region 98 injuries - Harem area 82 injuries - Idlib region 65 injuries), and pointed out that he recorded 24 cases Among the medical personnel, and 74 cases in the camp areas.

The team called on the civilian population to apply measures to combat infection with the Coronavirus during the coming period, and expressed its fear that the number of infections would explode more than the current situation, and enter a new wave spreading of Corona virus in the region.
