Russia supplies its helicopters in Syria with a new weapon

Russia provided its Mi-28NM attack helicopters with rockets with a long range of up to 25 kilometers, after the rockets were tested in Syria.
The Russian agency "Sputnik" said that the new weapon, known as the "long hand" of the "night hunter" helicopter, is characterized by destroying fixed and moving ground targets, without entering the air defense zone, as well as high-speed and maneuverable air targets.
It indicated that Russia decided to rearm the helicopter "Mi-28NM" with these rockets, after the results of the combat use of the aircraft during field military operations in Syria.
The agency added that the new weapon succeeded in achieving the required results during its use in Syria.
It is noteworthy that early last year, the Russian army completed the testing of the second stage of the fifth-generation "SU-57" combat warplane, during its operations in Syria.
