Public pressure forces SDF to retreat from the decision to raise fuel prices

The Autonomous Administration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) retreated from its earlier decision to raise fuel prices in the areas under its control in northeastern Syria, after great popular anger.
Today, Wednesday, the Autonomous Administration issued a statement published on its official identifiers on social media, in which it confirmed its retreat from the decision to raise fuel prices, in response to the people's demands.
The statement said "The decision to raise fuel prices in the areas under the control of SDF in northeastern Syria is canceled," confirming that fuel prices remain as they were before the administration issued the decision to raise prices until a new decision is issued.
Local sources said that the death outcome of protesters in Al-Hasakah Governorate has risen to seven, at the hands of SDF militia, this is due to its suppression of the demonstrations that took place against their decision, after the death of two young men today, Wednesday, from their wounds that were injured on Tuesday as a result of the demonstrations, one of them from the village of Abdan, south of Al-Hasaka, and the other from Shaddadi city.
