Today, Wednesday, the National Army factions thwarted an infiltration attempt by SDF on the Basufan axis in the countryside of Afrin, northwest of Aleppo.

The reporter of Qasioun Agency in Aleppo countryside said that a group of elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) tried to infiltrate at dawn today towards the National Army’s stationing points located on the Basufan axis, west of Aleppo.

Our reporter added that violent clashes erupted and lasted for nearly an hour between the two parties, while the exchange of artillery shelling continued for hours.

It pointed out that the infiltrating group targeted a motorcycle and a military vehicle with anti-armor guided missiles, killing five members of Sham Legion and wounding others, of varying injuries.

This comes in conjunction with the intense flight of Russian warplanes throughout northern Syria and the intense flight of Russian reconnaissance planes in the airspace of Jabal al-Zawiya, and the Assad regime's bombing of several villages in Jabal al-Zawiya, including Kansafra and Kafr Far'id.

It is noteworthy that SDF militia is constantly seeking to destabilize security and stability in areas under the control of the National Army in the countryside of Aleppo, either by carrying out infiltration and bombardment of populated cities and towns, or by sending car bombs and planting explosive devices through its associated cells in those regions.
