The regime's checkpoints take out identity cards from civilians to force them to elect Al-Assad

Media outlets have confirmed that the regime's security forces have worked during the last days to withdraw ID cards of civilians crossing their checkpoints in the eastern countryside of Aleppo in order to force them to elect Al-Assad.
The local Ain al-Furat network said that the Military Security Forces and Air Force Intelligence had set up flying checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the towns of Maskanah, al-Maamoura, Wadha and al-Hayit in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.
The network added that those checkpoints withdrew the identity cards of those passing, owners of vehicles and trucks, in order to take the triple name and national number to register them in the electoral lists of the head of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, provided that those cards would be delivered later after the elections.
In a related context, the regime forces seek to force the people to participate in Al-Assad's electoral campaign and hold demonstrations and stands in support of his elections, as the regime forces urge civilians in the eastern countryside of Aleppo to gather and participate in Al-Assad's elections.
It is noteworthy that the candidates for the elections began their electoral campaign scheduled to take place on the twenty-sixth of May, while many activists called for a boycott of the elections, which they considered a play to polish the system and lose legitimacy.
