Ain Al-Furat website indicated that a military convoy of the Iranian-backed Iraqi Hezbollah militia was ambushed by unknown gunmen on the Shaer-Al-Qasatil road in eastern Homs, which led to deaths and injuries among the militia, and the loss of contact with a number of the convoy.

"Ain Al-Furat" quoted a private military source (whose identity was not revealed), as saying that the convoy includes 7 military vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and about 40 personnel.

The source indicated, according to the opposition Radio Al-Kul website, that the convoy was exposed at six o'clock on Sunday evening, to RPGs and medium and heavy machine guns, which led to kill 5 members, wound others, and losing contact with three Iraqi members.

According to the same website, the Iranian militia transported the wounded towards its field hospital in the “Shaer field,” so that the regime forces would supervise the transfer of them, on Monday, towards the Homs military hospital, while the “Iranian Revolutionary Guard” militia sent reinforcements towards the targeting site after about 40 Minutes of occurrence.
