Opposition sites have transmitted a video recording published by identifiers affiliated with the "Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham" showing its leader, "Abu Muhammad Al-Julani," during a visit to a number of notables from the Idlib tribes.

Al-Julani indicated in his meeting that "the current stage is the stage of preparing and building institutions, in preparation for a major war and at the same time building institutions in the liberated areas, and we are taking a step towards Damascus."

He added, according to the Syrian opposition site, that "the regime is in a state of collapse, and perhaps the regime collapses at any time, a terrible economic and political situation at the gutter and a bad social situation, and it has lost all the factors it stands on, except for Russian aircraft," according to him.

He added, "Even Russian policy has not been able to protect the regime, and it may collapse suddenly, we must be ready in order not to enter the country into chaos, considering construction is more difficult than war."

"Al-Julani" has previously appeared in media interviews, one of them with an American journalist, in attempts that some describe as aiming to re-market himself locally and internationally.
