Opposition factions clash with regime forces on the fronts of the western countryside of Aleppo

Local sources reported that clashes broke out today, Friday, between the Syrian National Army and the regime forces, in the western countryside of Aleppo, coinciding with artillery shelling by the regime forces targeting the area.

The sources confirmed that violent clashes with heavy weapons took place this morning on Kafr Nouran-Miznar axis in the western countryside of Aleppo, between the factions of the National Army and the regime forces, according to Radio Al-Kul.

It added that the clashes coincided with artillery bombardment by the regime forces on the town of Kafr Nouran, which caused significant material damage to civilian property.

It is noteworthy that the areas west of Aleppo, Idlib, and the northern countryside of Hama and Latakia, in northwestern Syria, are subject to several ceasefire agreements, starting with the Astana talks in May 2017 and ending with “Moscow Agreement” on March 5 last year.
