The National Army shoots down a Russian reconnaissance plane in Aleppo countryside

Local sources reported that the "Syrian National Army" shot down this morning, Wednesday, a Russian reconnaissance aircraft on the front lines in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Qasioun's reporter said that the National Army managed this morning to shoot down a Russian reconnaissance plane on the front line between "Marea city and Abla village " in the northern countryside of Aleppo, by targeting it with heavy machine guns.

The Military Information Unit and the Moral Guidance Department of the National Army published pictures showing the Russian plane after it was shot down on the contact lines in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

It is noteworthy that last August, a Russian reconnaissance plane crashed in an area near the town of Kafr Noran in the western countryside of Aleppo, while it was conducting a full monitoring of the area, and activists expected it to crash due to a technical defect.
