Expectations that the regime will release a new group of eastern Ghouta residents next week

The head of the reconciliation committee in the People’s Assembly of Al-Assad regime, Ali Al-Sheikh, expected the regime to release a new group of detainees from the people of Eastern Ghouta in the Damascus countryside.

According to the loyalist newspaper Al-Watan, those who will be released " their hands were not stained with blood", indicating that they were opponents of Al-Assad regime before the displacement of the residents of Ghouta in April 2018.

Last Saturday, the regime announced releasing a group of 30 detainees from Arbin residents in Eastern Ghouta, preceded by releasing of a group of 26 Douma residents.
