Eight dead members of the regime were killed in an immersion operation done by two members of Tahrir al-Sham, south of Idlib

Military sources in Idlib announced a military operation done by two fighters from "Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham" against the positions of the regime forces in Jabal Al-Zawiya, leaving 8 dead.

The sources told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Modon that two fighters from “Tahrir al-Sham” from Uzbek nationality sneaked a forward military point where a number of members of the regime forces and the “25th Special Missions Division” (Tiger Forces) gathered in the Ruwaiha axis in Jabal Al-Zawiya.

The sources added that the operation resulted killing 8 members and wounding 5 others from the regime forces, in addition to killing the two attackers during the clash with the regime forces inside their military headquarters.

It indicated that "Tahrir al-Sham" and the media close to it did not intentionally talk about the operation.

According to sources from the "Hurras Al-Din" organization, the attack was carried out by two members of the Uzbek battalion in "Tahrir al-Sham" and it was not with the knowledge of their leadership, because "Tahrir al-Sham" "prevents any attack on the positions of the regime forces.
