Alliance are sweeping Al-Ajij desert after 2 shells were fallen near Koniko Lab

Local sources reported that two shells fall down yesterday, Wednesday, near the "Koniko" gas factory in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

"Jisr" newspaper reported by private source said that the source of the shells was the Iranian militias stationed in the town of "Khasham", which is under the control of the regime forces in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, or the cells of the Islamic State organization "ISIS".

The source added that two helicopters landed in the "Al-Ajaj desert" in the countryside of Al-Sour district in Deir Al-Zour, which separates the Iraqi-Syrian border, and which is under the protection of the international Alliance forces, for sweeping the "Al-Ajaj" valley, which is the consider center of "ISIS" in that Region.

It is mentioned that the sweeping campaign came one day after an attack by "ISIS" targeting one of the headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
