A medical staff in Idlib rescues a fetus from its dead mother’s womb by a traffic accident

Doctors in northern Syria managed to save a fetus from the womb of his mother, who died in a traffic accident on Wednesday night, on Bab al-Hawa highway.

Qasiyon Agency’s reporter in Idlib countryside said that the man and his wife died, while their four children were injured in the accident that occurred on Idlib Bab al-Hawa highway, near the town of Batbo.

Our reporter added that the family is from Khan Sheikhoun city in the southern countryside of Idlib, their car had been swerved the road, which led to kill the father and mother, and injuring the children.

Bab al-Hawa Hospital announced from his side on its Facebook page: “A painful traffic accident arrived on the night of the third day of Ramadan at Bab al-Hawa Hospital, which is composed of an entire family, a father, mother and four children.”

He added in his post that the dead parents arrived at the emergency department, and the children had multiple traumas.

They indicated that the doctors noticed that the mother was pregnant and that the examination revealed the presence of a weak pulse in the fetus and very quickly, the medical team performed a cesarean section for the deceased mother and removed the fetus and revived it.

They mentioned that after a successful fetus extraction operation, he was sent to intensive care after stabilizing his condition.
