Deir Ezzour (Qasioun) - An agreement has been reached between ISIS and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the past few days to temporarily halt military operations in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzour.

The agreement provides for the cessation of shelling of villages and towns controlled by ISIS in the north of the Euphrates River on the east bank, as well as the entry of some basic foodstuffs, medicines and medical materials, without disclosing any additional details.

Noteworthy that ISIS recently lost most of its strongholds in the Syrian territory for the benefit of both the forces of the regime and SDF, and besieged in the Euphrates basin in the far east of Deir Ezzour.
